The victory of the Turkmen female judoka in the Grand Slam

Turkmen judoka Maysa Pardaeva won a bronze medal at the 2024 Grand Slam tournament in Antalya.
MaisaPardaeva became a bronze medalist in the up to 57 kg weight category, in which 44 judokas from 33 countries competed for medals. On the way to this success, the 19-year-old athlete won five victories.
The winner of the second bronze medal in the weight category up to 57 kg was Faize Mokdar (France). Silver went to Jessica Lima (Brazil). And gold went to two-time world champion 2019 and 2023, Krista Deguchi (Canada).
Maysa Pardaeva became the second judoka from Turkmenistan and the first female to win a medal at the prestigious Grand Slam competition, where the winner receives ranking points for participation in the World Championships and Olympic Games.
