The Olympic Movement is the concerted, organised, universal and permanent action, carried out under the supreme authority of the IOC.

The IOC organises the modern Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games, held in summer and winter, every four years.

The NOCT performs activities within its competence stipulated by the present Statutes on the whole territory of Turkmenistan.

The International Olympic Committee is the supreme authority of the Olympic Movement.

Executive Board of Turkmenistan Olympic Committee undertakes responsibility of carrying out administrative and executive operations.

After the establishment of Turkmenistan National Olympic Committee in 1993, in total 20 National Sport Federations.
