Hekim Agamammedov - Grand Slam bronze medalist

506 athletes from 84 countries took part in the Grand Slam international tournament, which is one of the highest-rated judo competitions held in Tokyo, Japan.
A 24-year-old turkmen athlete, Hekim Agamammedov, won a bronze medal in the 66 kg category. Agamammedov defeated Ari Berliner from the USA, Yashar Najafov from Azerbaijan and Radu Izvoreanu from Moldova for the bronze medal.
Having lost to his French opponent Bouba Daikii, the Turkmen judoka successfully fought with the Brazilian Lima Willian and the Mongolian Battogtokh Erkhembayer.
Thus, Hekim Agamammedov managed 500 points in the IJF world ranking system winning a bronze medal at the international Grand Slam tournament.
