Turkmen boxers won two bronze medals at the Asian Championship held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. This achievement highlights the progress of Turkmen athletes in the sport of boxing. The competition featured 462 boxers from 26 countries, divided into two age categories: one for juniors born in 2008-2009, with 13 weight divisions, and another for schoolchildren born in 2010-2011, with 15 weight divisions.

Ten athletes from the Turkmen national team competed in the championship. Sixteen-year-old Begench Kakamyradov, competing in the 50 kg weight category, and Sapargeldi Nuryagdiyev, competing in the 70 kg weight category, both earned bronze medals. They were well-prepared for the competition under the guidance of their coaches Sapardurdy Bagyyev and Myrat Pazzyyev.

This result demonstrates that Turkmen boxers are on a path to achieving even greater success in international competitions.
