A 21-year-old native of Magtymguly city, a ward of coach of the School of Higher Sports Skills of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan Yazmukhammet Pazzyev, in the first fight Nurmuhammedov defeated participant of the 2023 World Championship held in Tashkent Davud Mahkamov from Tajikistan with a score of 5:0.
