Turkmen Weightlifters Achieve Success at the Asian Championship

Turkmen athletes continue to perform successfully at the Asian Weightlifting Championship, currently being held in Jiangshan, China.
Dowranbek Hasanbayev stood out with impressive results in his weight category:
• Snatch – 182 kg
• Clean & Jerk – 195 kg
• Total – 377 kg
With these results, he earned a gold medal in the snatch and a bronze medal in the total.
On the third day of the competition, Bektimur Reyimov and Bunyat Rashidov also joined the list of medal-winning athletes.
Bektimur Reyimov:
• Snatch – 148 kg
• Clean & Jerk – 172 kg
• Total – 320 kg (6th place)
Bunyat Rashidov:
• Snatch – 150 kg
• Clean & Jerk – 165 kg
• Total – 315 kg (7th place)
These achievements are yet another testament to Turkmenistan’s growing success in international weightlifting competitions.
