The Turkmenistan hockey team secured their second victory at the 9th Winter Asian Games held in China. They achieved another triumph by defeating India with a score of 19:1.
In the game held on February 6, Arslan Geldimyradov stood out by scoring 5 goals. Begench Dowletmyradov and Baymyrat Baymyradov each scored 3 goals, while Arslan Nuryyev and Aleksandr Wahowskiy netted 2 goals each. Additionally, Nowruz Baykhanov, Erkin Kakabayev, Owezguly Esenov, and Nazar Orazov each contributed with one goal to the team's success.
Previously, on February 5, Turkmenistan had won their opening match against Macau with a dominant score of 26:0. In their final group-stage match on February 9, Turkmenistan will face Hong Kong. The quarterfinal matches are scheduled to take place on February 11.
