Turkmen athletes won high prizes

The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, presented a 2023 Toyota Camry V6 car to Alp Arslan Begenjovaand Shahzadbek Matyakubova, two outstanding athletes of the country, for their achievements in the international arena.
Begenjov won a gold medal at the World Championship in freestyle wrestling held in Spain and became the first Turkmen wrestler to achieve success in this field. He did not lose a single win in the weight class up to 79 kilograms, with a total of 46:0 five wins.
Matyakubov, in turn, won three gold medals at the World Weightlifting Championships in Leon, setting a world record in the competition. Both athletes will continue to show excellent results, strengthen the sports image of the country and protect the image of Turkmenistan in the upcoming international competitions.
