The Turkmen athletes who won the «Children of Asia» and the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games were awarded

On August 31, in the conference hall of the Sport Hotel of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the VII International Sports Games «Children of Asia», held in Vladivostok, as well as the V Games of Islamic Solidarity, held in Konya, was held.
At the beginning of the event, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s congratulations to the athletes were read out.
1355 athletes from 13 countries took part in the VII International Sports Games «Children of Asia». In total, the national team of Turkmenistan won 16 medals at these competitions (2 gold, 3 silver, 11 bronze).
At the V Games of Islamic Solidarity, held in Turkish Konya, the athletes of our team won a total of 23 medals (4 gold, 6 silver and 13 bronze). More than 4,000 athletes from 56 countries competed in 24 sports.
Athletes of the national teams of Turkmenistan were presented with gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan and the Charitable Foundation named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
