Turkmen kickboxers finished the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games

In the weight category of 54 kilograms, an athlete of the kickboxing team of Turkmenistan, a 1st year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Omargeldi Nurgeldiyev entered the ring. Our compatriot, who competed with athletes from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, managed to win a bronze medal.
Gulzada Dzhorakuliyeva, a 4th year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports, deservedly continued her medal journey. Speaking in the 55 kg weight category, a girl from Turkmenistan fought fiercely with athletes from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon and Turkey. Gulzada, who met with a Turkish woman in the final, won the silver medal of the Games.
