Ten Medals at The World Belt Wrestling Championships

Khujand, Republic of Tajikistan –October 12-15, 2023, Turkmen athletes won 10 medals in the World Belt Wrestling Championships (U20). Our national team conquered 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronzemedals at the World Wrestling Championship, a total of 10 medals. Among them, Mekan Nurberdyyev (62kg), Annagurban Allaberdiyev (100kg), Bayramguly Muhammetgulyyev (90 kg) won first place and the gold medal as well. Jumamyrat Gumalakov (68 kg), Gurbanyaz Allamyradov (+100kg) took second place in the podium of the Championship winners. Also, Kerven Bayramov (82kg), ZehinMeredalyyev (57kg), Sylap Bayrammammedov (62kg), Guvanch Hemrayev (75kg), Bayramguly Muhammetgulyev (90kg) and Annagurban Allaberdiyev (100kg) took III place and bronze medal at the Belt wrestling Championships (U20) in the Khujand, Tajikistan.
