Ziyamuhammet Saparov, athlete of the national team of Turkmenistan, participated in the Asian Championship under 23 years of age, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, in the 125-kilogram weight class, and defeated Mongolian Munhbayar Sogtbayar in the quarterfinals. In the semi-finals, the Cambodian athlete Bali Souvy had a competitive match, and the victory was won by our Turkmen athlete.
The fight for the gold medal was between our Turkmen athlete Ziyamuhammet Saparov and Kazakh Abylai Soved. The Turkmen athlete showed his training at the highest level and defeated the athlete from Kazakhstan and became the winner of the gold medal.
