Turkmen football team (U20) wins a big victory in the first selection meeting for the 2023 Asian Cup

The national football team of Turkmenistan (U20) started with a victory in the first match of the qualifying round of the Asian Cup-2023. The meeting against the Northern Mariana Islands was held at the Petra Stadium in Amman. Dayanch Meredov (17, 19), Suleyman Mirzoyev (31, 90), Arslan Saparov (45+1) and Sohbet Durdyyev (77, 82) scored goals in our national team. With a crushing score of 7:0, our players won the first qualifying match for the 2022 Asian Cup.
The next team will take place tomorrow, September 12, in which our guys will meet with the Jordanian team.
Group D, which includes the Turkmen team, also included the teams of Jordan, Chinese Taipei, Syria and the Northern Mariana Islands.
10 teams take part in the tournament. Group winners and second place winners will take part in the Asian Cup (under 20), which will be held in Uzbekistan in March next year.
