Turkmen Delegation Preparing for the 3rd Asian Youth Games

The administrative delegation and athletes from Turkmenistan have arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 3rd Asian Youth Games.
The participation of young Turkmen athletes in this prestigious continental event reflects the successful implementation of the state policy aimed at promoting sports, encouraging physical education, and fostering a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation.
The national team of Turkmenistan will compete in the following sports: Kurash, Weightlifting, Athletics, Freestyle Wrestling, Thai Boxing, 3x3 Basketball, Boxing, and Swimming.
Notably, Leyli Yusupova, representing Turkmenistan in Kurash, has won a bronze medal, earning the country its first medal at the Games.
It is expected that Turkmen athletes will perform with excellence, raise the national flag high, and further enhance the international prestige of Turkmenistan.
