Turkmen Athletes Win 3 Medals at the Asian Championship

n July 2025, the national freestyle wrestling team of Turkmenistan achieved great success at the U20 Asian Championship held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Three of our athletes managed to earn medals in this prestigious international tournament.
The following members of the Turkmenistan national team were awarded prizes:
Dowletgeldi Myradov – won the silver medal in the 86 kg weight category;
Alp Arslan Begenjov – earned the bronze medal in the 79 kg weight category;
Watan Annarazov – also secured a bronze medal in the 74 kg weight category.
This remarkable result highlights the high level of preparation of our young athletes and demonstrates the promising future of Turkmenistan in international sports competitions.
