Turkmen Athletes Achieve Great Success at International Boxing Tournament in Batumi

From June 24 to 30, 2025, the city of Batumi, Georgia, hosted an international boxing tournament among adults. A total of 111 athletes from 16 teams representing 11 countries participated in the event, competing fiercely for top honors.
The athletes of Turkmenistan’s national team demonstrated strong will, solid preparation, and a high sporting spirit throughout the competition. Representing our country with dignity, they achieved notable results and returned home with several well-deserved medals.
Medal-Winning Athletes from Turkmenistan:
Bayramdurdy Nurmuhammedov — Competed in the 70 kg weight category, won 4 bouts, and secured 1st place and a gold medal.
Dowlet Yslamov — In the +90 kg category, won 2 matches to reach the final and earned 2nd place and a silver medal.
Serdar Asadov — Competed in the 65 kg category, advanced to the semi-final with 2 victories, and claimed 3rd place and a bronze medal.
Dowlet Muhanov — In the 60 kg weight class, advanced to the semi-final after 2 victories and secured 3rd place and a bronze medal.
Saparmyrat Odayev — Also competed in the 70 kg category, reached the semi-final with 2 wins and earned 3rd place and a bronze medal.
