Coordination Meeting Held to Prepare for the 3rd Asian Youth Games in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2025

In preparation for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, scheduled to be held in October 2025 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the first coordination meeting of the Olympic Council of Asia’s Coordination Committee is taking place on April 15–16 this year in Bahrain.
The meeting is attended by members of the Local Organizing Committee, as well as the Deputy Director General and Vice Presidents of the Olympic Council of Asia, representatives from relevant sectors, and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan and member of the OCA Coordination Committee, Ata Akmammedov.
The purpose of the meeting is to ensure that this international sporting event, to be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is organized at a high level. A number of issues related to the Games are being discussed, including the readiness of sports venues, the main schedule and sports program of the Games, material and technical support, registration, medical services, anti-doping measures, volunteer training, hospitality and logistics for guests, as well as protocol and other organizational matters.
This meeting aims to strengthen cooperation between the members of the Olympic Council of Asia and local organizers, and paves the way for the successful and well-organized hosting of the 3rd Asian Youth Games with the participation of young athletes.
