Turkmen karate players won three medals at the Traditional Karate World Championship held in Spain

At the World Karate Championship held in Cambrils, Spain, Turkmen athletes won one silver and two bronze medals.
Selim Myratdurdyev and Nurgeldi Annagurbanov won the silver medal in the pair performance. Selim Myratdurdyev also won a bronze medal in separate committee competitions. The Turkmen team won another bronze medal in the committee team, where Hemra Begjanov, Kemal Atayev, Selim Myratdurdyev and Eziz Zekeryaev performed.
More than 500 athletes from 17 countries took part in the championship. 10 athletes from Turkmenistan performed.
In addition, two Turkmen specialists Eimur Mademinov and Guvanch Adiev worked as judges in this world championship.
