In the weight category up to 54 kg, an athlete of the kickboxing team of Turkmenistan, a 1st year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, Omargeldi Nurgeldiyev, entered the ring. Our athlete, who competed against rivals from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Algeria, managed to become the owner of a bronze medal.

The silver medal was won by a 4th year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports - Gulzada Jorakuliyeva. Speaking in the weight category up to 55 kg, a girl from Turkmenistan competed with athletes from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon and Turkey.
