Ata Akmammedov, Secretary General of the NOC of Turkmenistan, met with Alexander Korsik, Chief of Staff of the International Sambo Federation (FIAS) President, during his working visit to Russian Federation.

The parties reached agreements on further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the NOC of Turkmenistan and FIAS to train international class judges and improve the qualification of Turkmen coaches. They also discussed current situation in the world arena.

It should be recalled that under the current Memorandum of Cooperation, signed on November 24, 2020, a number of joint practical measures to develop sambo in Turkmenistan are being implemented.
